About Us
The Amboy Rifle Club was established in the mid to late 1940s to promote rifle shooting. The organization consists of five officers and six trustees that manage the daily functions and finances of the club. The club is affiliated with the National Rifle Association and the Civilian Marksmanship Program.
The building has a heated fifty-foot, 8-lane with manual retrieval system indoor range for 22 caliber rifles and pistols of most calibers.
We have open range nights that are open to the public for $10 for one shooter on a lane and $4 for an additional shooter on the same lane (only one person can shoot at a time in the same lane) with a one hour time limit and are staffed by at least one NRA certified Range Safety Officer.
Membership to the club is limited to 375 Associate and Annual members, totalled.
An Associate member pays dues of $45/yr and can come shoot on the open nights or can shoot with an Annual member for $3 per shooter.
Associate members who have five recorded shoots and 6 months as an Associate may apply for an Annual membership of $60/yr.
They may also at that time apply for a key to the range (for a refundable deposit of $50 for the swipe card access) so they may come shoot at their leisure and if no other club activities are scheduled.
Associate/Annual members pay $5 if one person shoots, or $3 if two or more shoot.
Annual members get to vote in the annual board elections (first meeting in April each year).
